About this role
Here is what you will be doing: Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Associate Engineer, perform detailed designs involving, but not limited to bulk earthworks, water reticulation, pavement design, stormwater, sewerage, road geometry and cable ducts. Modelling of civil engineering services in Civil 3D and Revit. Specification, analysis and sizing of civil engineering equipment such as submersible pumps, interceptors and tanks. Take responsibility for civil engineering design and drawings. Be part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors. Attend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections. Independently manage projects of low complexity. Work to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in civil engineering documentation such as reports, analysis and specifications.
