To assist with all group payrolls and ensuring staff are paid accurately and in line with current legislation.
Preparation and input of payroll dataMinimum wage checksPayroll reconciliationPensions administration and assessments in line with auto-enrolmentProduction and distribution of payslips, P45s & P60sProduction and distribution of payroll reportsCalculation of average holiday pay for variable pay staffAll payroll filing & maintenance of electronic recordsAssist staff with pay related queriesPreparation and distribution of overtime templatesMaintain mileage records for company vehiclesMaintain KPIs on payroll activities for all group companiesPayroll statistics as may be required by the Office of National StatisticsAny other task as assigned by the Assistant Payroll Manager or Group Payroll Manager A minimum of two years payroll experience to include starters, leavers, statutory pay and leave, and other day to day payroll activitiesAttention to detail and high level of accuracyUp to date knowledge of statutory requirements for PAYE/NICHandling pay related queries from staffCompetency with Microsoft Office applications and intermediate Excel skillsAbility to manage your own workload and work under pressure to achieve payroll deadlinesGood communication skills and confidence to communicate at all levels of the businessExperience of Automatic Enrolment and pensions administrationIn addition knowledge of Resourcelink/Zellis payroll system would be an advantage but not essential Residing within an easily commutable distance from Harrogate
