What You’ll Be Doing
No two days look the same. You’ll be:
Carrying out specialist cleaning, servicing and repairs across a wide range of systems and facilitiesTackling tanks, bilges, compartments and ventilation systems with precision and professionalismUsing high-pressure jet washers and vacuum tankers to keep systems operating safelyMaintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, Waste Management and environmental regulationsWorking in confined spaces using the correct PPE and safety proceduresCompleting all paperwork accurately and ensuring customer satisfaction every timeSupporting other trade groups and undertaking fire sentry duties when requiredRepresenting Marlin on customer sites with the highest standards of cleanliness and conduct What You Bring
You’re someone who knows their way around specialist equipment and understands the importance of safe working practices. Ideally, you have:
Experience starting up and shutting down vacuum tankers and hot pressure washersKnowledge of pumping liquid/waste between ship and shoreSolid understanding of Confined Space workingAbility to follow MAR pack procedures for specialist cleaningUnderstanding of cleaning standards: Survey, Hot Work, and PreservationA proactive attitude toward safety—for yourself and your team About us:
