Role: - System Analyst (Mobile App Developer)
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Acting as lead iOS and/ or Android developer. Depending on the skills set can be lead on one platform and play a supporting role across the otherWorking closely with another mobile app developer leading the other platform developmentDeliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and supportWorking directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release productsGather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutionsBuild prototypes at tech scoping stage of projectsWorks collaboratively and professionally with fellow team mates and other teams to achieve goalsInteract with customer on the integration and implementation related activitiesApply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashionWorking with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability featuresCreate compelling device specific user interfaces and experiencesStandardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effortOptimizing performance for the appsKeep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologiesExplain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders Essential skills:
3+ Years of experience in mobile application developmentiOS –
Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-CFamiliar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)Familiar with XcodeAndroid –
Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)Familiar with the Android SDK Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management systemFamiliar with EclipseCommon –
