About this role
You'll be building/managing a tech stack that includes Kubernetes on AWS/GCP/Azure/On-PremBring expert domain knowledge over fine tuning, scaling, monitoring big data tech stack like Kafka, Elastic Search, Spark, PostgresExperience with enabling cloud security is a major plusTest system integrity, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as neededWork with open-source technologies, CI/CD tools and source control such as GITHelp automate and streamline our operations and processesManage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processesAvailable on call to troubleshoot system alertsHelp estimate, plan and execute on projects, features, and integrationsStay current with industry trends and source new ways for our systems to improve Cloud Providers: 4+ years experience in setting up & managing infrastructure using cloud providers. (AWS/GCP/Azure/On premise experience)Participate in capacity planning and provisioning of new resourcesAWS Background is a plus: Experience with AWS EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Load Balancers, Block Storage, File Storage, S3, Key Management Service, IAM, VPC, etcOrchestration/Containerization: Hands-on experience with and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (K8S)Working knowledge of microservices-based architecture and have a fair understanding of security best-practices (Application and Infrastructure)Experience creating/deploying K8S helm appsMonitoring/Alerting/Logging: Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/ Elasticsearch & KibanaDatabases: Expert experience in deploying, maintaining and scaling distributed applications like Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, and PostgresCI/CD: You have facilitated the setup of CI/CD pipelines for both on-prem and cloud environments using tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab, Circle CI, etcIAC: Experience/Exposure to infrastructure automation, such as Terraform or Ansible, and building/using/deploying ContainersProficient in scripting & automation using Python, Shell-scripting, etcStrong Linux System Admin Experience with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skillsGreat organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills that make you a valuable co-worker in a fast, changing and ambiguous environment Compensation / Benefits:
