We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an emerging employment litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their caseload, and is eager to develop their litigation skills alongside experienced practitioners. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage an active docket of employment litigation matters from inception through resolutionConduct and defend depositions, including witness preparation and examinationAppear in court, administrative hearings, and mediation proceedingsDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondenceConduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case strategy summariesCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to advance client mattersCommunicate directly with clients to provide case updates and gather informationMonitor deadlines and ensure timely compliance with court and agency schedules Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the California State Bar in good standing1–2 years of experience in employment litigation (plaintiff, defense, or government)Demonstrated experience with court appearances and/or depositionsStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative and professional approachProficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis) and case management software What We Offer:
