About this role
The purpose of the Country Head of Logistics is to ensure alignment to overall business strategy from a logistics and planning perspective
Roles & Responsibilities:
Delivery against customer service, volume, market shareProfitability targets in an ethical, safe, and sustainable mannerEnsures a safe and healthy working environment for internal and external stakeholdersEnsures that legislative requirements are met and fully implementedMaintains a robust system of SIO generation and close outWeekly safety reviews are conducted with the teams and monthly safety reviews with the Logistics Director to identify risk trends and mitigation plansEnsures that logistics teams adhere to quality guidelines specified by the Zone so that customers receive stock as per ABInbev’s quality guidelinesEnsures that Daily, Weekly and Monthly Meeting routines are adhered to in line with mandatory DPO/VPO/LCP guidelinesEnsures that processes are standardized via SOP's and work standards are monitored and improvedTrack KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with DPO/VPO/LCP requirementsEnsures that appropriate problem-solving tools are applied for out of range KPI's in line with DPO/VPO/LCP methodologyEnsures that appropriate problem-solving tools are applied for out of range KPI's in line with LCP, DPO 7 VPO methodologyPublish reports on time as per LCP, DPO & VPO guidelines and internal processesDrives a strict adherence to flexed budgets with the delivery, warehouse, inventory management & planning teamsEnsures that accountability is aligned to package ownersAssumes overall accountability for Country Logistics spend on both VLC, FLC and SCOHDevelop annually together with Zone team the bottom up budgets for all packages (VLC, people, retpack, capex etc.)Develop annually the 1YP together with ZoneAnnual Champions initiatives and tracking of the sameEnsure that the Logistics and Planning Teams are aligned in terms of goals and meeting routines to drive continuous improvementEnsures that Monthly One on Ones are conducted in line with the target review processFollow up on Engagement Survey results with clear actions to correct areas of concernRecruitment of talent and building of pipelineCapability building of the logistics teamPerform 180 reviews and address poor performance where required by means of improvement plans and or disciplinary hearing
Logistics/Supply Chain degree or another 3-year degree in related field Minimum 5 years manufacturing, distribution, and planning management experience within FMCG companyDeep knowledge of supply chain processes both from operational and planning perspectiveProven experience with ability to influence and interface with senior stakeholders across various functionsProven leadership experience with an ability to convert market opportunities into cost saving initiativesCustomer focused mind set and approachDemonstrate problem solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguityAbility to work under pressure and multitaskGood verbal and communication skills; must communicate across all levels in the organization with personal gravitas and credibilityGood self-management principlesAbility to adapt to and implement change effectivelyStrive for continuous improvementStrong analytic and numerical skills AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
