About this role
The purpose of the Regulatory & Stakeholders Engagement Manager is to lead and manage all key regulatory affairs, influence stakeholder perceptions; supporting proactive government and regulatory engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Protect the overall regulatory environmentInfluence regulatory and public policy processes to the benefit of the ZoneTrack and maintain a detailed awareness of the key regulatory issues facing the Business and develop strategic responses as required.Industry advocacy for long-term market reformsOptimizing relationships and communications with a wide variety of stakeholdersProcessing plant & factory toursDevelop initiatives/events for multi-stakeholder forumsSupporting functional/commercial business including TDL illicit issues, breweries regional government engagement and regulatory bodies to mitigate regulatory risksFunction supports in follow up of regional & directorial level support on commercial & operational supportStrong focus on statistical modelling and data managementTrack and maintain a detailed awareness of the key excise issues facing the business and develop strategic responses as requiredDevelop and communicate the excise positions and integrate into risk management and stakeholder engagement processConduct research to support the development of submissions to relevant industry regulatory authoritiesDevelop and maintain sound and mutually beneficial relationships with relevant role players at all levels of governmentDevelop and maintain a robust depository and deep understanding of relevant and reliable data and communicate the value of available information to the relevant role playersEngage stakeholders and act as the contact point for TBL Group regulatory affairs; by developing mutually beneficial relationships with the relevant key stakeholders Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in economics/political science/law/international relations and a minimum of 4 years’ experienceExperience in a highly regulated industry, stakeholder relations and track record of establishing strong governmental relationshipsExperience working with indirect tax essentialStrong technical skill and courage to defend positions views when challengedAbility to understand and navigate complex political environmentsAbility to form meaningful relationships with stakeholders as well as an ability to influence AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
