About this role
The purpose of the Tax and Compliance Manager is to ensure that the Company is tax compliant and aligns to its Financial Strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review all the information relating to both output VAT and Input VAT for the previous month and submit to LRAMonitoring production volumes and submitting to LRA for final review and obtaining pay adviceReview for submission the calculations of current tax and deferred tax for the year under reviewMonitor all benefits that attract FBT and calculate the fringe benefit taxReview of monthly PAYE return and review of WHT calculation for accurate filling with LRAAccounting for management fees, royalties and dividends and ensure alignment to relevant contractsManage the decanting process and ensure obsolete inventory is accounted for appropriatelyAccounting for all taxes periodicallyJournal processing relating to taxManage the Company relationship with the Lesotho Revenue AuthorityAssist with compliance to Companies act and governanceReview and approve paymentsCoordinate annual financial audits and attend to audit queriesCoordinating the tax annual budgetary process and ensuring alignment to overall financial strategyManage Cash flow and cash tax forecastingMonitoring and evaluating company performance against budget and in line with the company zero based budgeting principlesBe the ZBB Lead for Finance and the business as necessaryLead the Latest Estimate (LE) process and reporting for tax, management fees, royalties and dividendsReport to Zone on YTD profitability and tax impactReport to zone on monthly and YTD EBITA performance and how tax will be affectedPrepare Annual Financial Statements BCom Degree in Accounting OR General Accountant/ Registered Accountant Certificate with at least 5 years of work experience3 years in senior or middle management2-3 years of experience within FMCG environment is preferredExcellent interpersonal & communications skillsHigh need for achievementDisciplined as well as assertiveStrong leadership skillsAttention to detailHigh energy levelsResults focusedAction oriented AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
