About this role
Role Purpose :
Work closely with Business units, data stewards, project/program managers, and other IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound organizational decisions.Responsible for modeling complex business problems, discovering business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques.In addition to advanced analytic skills, this role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, architecting specialized database and computing environments, and communicating results
Solid Knowledge of statistical techniquesProficiency in the use of statistical packagesKnowledge of working with CRM, ERP preferably SAP and analyticsProficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithmsStrong programming skills (such as Hadoop MapReduce or other big data frameworks, Java), and statistical modelling (like python, SAS, SPSS or R)Experience with, or knowledge of, data visualization, including usage of tools like Xcelsius/Tableau. English and Arabic Languages Preferable: Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language is a must.CAP, SAS Certification5+ years of experience in analytics, statistical modelling and research
