About this role
We’re seeking a passionate, patient-focused OHT or Hygienist for a part-time permanent role, working 2-3 days per week. If you take pride in delivering exceptional dental care and value building long-term patient relationships, you’ll thrive at our Park Beach practice. Your key responsibilities will be:
Deliver high-quality preventative and periodontal treatment to an existing patient baseConduct patient assessments and provide oral hygiene education and preventative carePerform scaling, debridement, periodontal maintenance, and other treatments within your scope of practiceMaintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulationsWork collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team to ensure a positive patient experienceAdapt to different practice environments and systems to support continuity of care Qualified Dental Hygienist or OHT (graduate or experienced), registered to practice in AustraliaStrong communication and patient care skillsExperience in using modern dental technology (intraoral cameras, digital radiography, and dental software) will be highly regardedCommitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace safetyAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a dental teamStrong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans As Australasia's largest dental support organisation, Abano Healthcare supports over 200 practices across Australia and New Zealand, including trusted brands like Maven Dental, 1300Smiles, and Lumino the Dentists.
