About this role
As our Orthodontic Assistant, you'll play an integral role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring every patient has a positive experience.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting our Orthodontists and Orthodontic Auxiliary during orthodontic proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointmentsSterilising instruments and maintaining infection control standardsSupporting patients throughout their treatment journeyCompleting administrative tasks as requiredHelping ensure the practice runs smoothly each dayHours of Work
Monday to Thursday | 8:15am - 5:30pmEnjoy a consistent four-day work week, giving you long weekends every week.
We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, and passionate about patient care.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA positive, patient-focused approachStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesConfidence using computer systems and softwarePrevious experience as a Dental Assistant, Clinical Assistant, or within a healthcare environmentBasic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred)Flexibility to work across multiple Lumino locations when requiredValid New Zealand work rights and residency in Invercargill Work-Life Balance & Location
