As our Casual Receptionist / Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly while helping create a welcoming and professional experience for our patients.
This position offers variety, with shifts available across both reception and clinical support. Whether you're greeting patients at the front desk or assisting chairside, you'll be a valued member of our close-knit team.
Responsibilities may include:
Welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiriesScheduling appointments and handling patient communicationsProcessing payments and maintaining accurate patient recordsAssisting clinicians chairside during dental proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and sterilising instrumentsSupporting the team with day-to-day practice operationsProviding outstanding customer service at every patient interaction To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Receptionist, or in a customer-facing healthcare roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA positive, friendly, and adaptable attitudeStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfidence working in a fast-paced environmentThe flexibility to pick up casual shifts as requiredValid New Zealand work rightsIdeally live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Coastlands to ensure reliable availability for casual shifts At Lumino Coastlands, you'll join a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together and delivering great patient care.
