About this role
As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, your role will include a combination of clinical and front-of-house responsibilities, including:
Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointmentsPreparing treatment rooms and ensuring everything is ready for patientsCleaning and maintaining clinical areas and equipmentWelcoming patients and providing friendly, professional serviceAnswering phone calls and responding to patient enquiriesBooking and managing patient appointmentsProcessing payments and assisting with general administrationSupporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practiceBuilding positive relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You don't necessarily need years of dental experience. We're happy to provide training for the right person who has the right attitude and is keen to learn.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous Dental Assisting and/or Reception experienceStrong customer service and communication skillsA warm and approachable personalityGood attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to work well as part of a teamA willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesA professional and positive approach to your workDental experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
