About this role
This role would suit an experienced dental receptionist who is confident using Oasis and can take ownership of the reception area. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, working closely with the Practice Manager, three dentists and the hygiene team.
Your hours:
Monday: 8am to 6pmTuesday and Thursday: 9am to 7pmFriday: 7:30am to 5:30pmYour responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, professional first impressionManaging appointments, patient enquiries and day-to-day reception dutiesAnswering phone calls and assisting patients with their questionsProcessing payments, HICAPS and health fund claimsMaintaining accurate patient records and keeping the front desk organisedWorking closely with the dentists, hygiene team and Practice Manager throughout the dayUsing Oasis practice management software and MS Office for day-to-day administrationSupporting a positive patient experience, including for nervous or anxious patients To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in a dental reception or dental assisting role (essential)Recent experience using Oasis practice management software (essential)Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and FridayKnowledge of HICAPS, health fund claims and dental item numbersA warm and professional approach to patient care, including when handling challenging or sensitive situationsStrong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when managing a busy front desk Why join Maven Dental New Farm?
