About this role
West Pymble Dental Surgery invites applications from experienced Dental Hygienists to join the practice on a part-time basis. Initially, the role will be 2 mornings per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the opportunity to transition into 2 full days per week.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established patient base and play an important role in delivering exceptional preventative care. We are looking for someone with a warm, bubbly personality who enjoys building strong relationships with patients and creating a positive experience at every appointment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide high-quality preventative and periodontal care to patients.Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans within your scope of practice.Perform routine cleans, scaling, root debridement and other preventative dental procedures.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care to support long-term oral health outcomes.Build strong rapport and lasting relationships with patients through a friendly, professional and caring approach.Work collaboratively with the dentists and wider clinical team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control and compliance standards. Qualified Dental Hygienist Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain)Ability to work within AustraliaExcellent communication skills with patients and team membersPassion for continuous learning and expanding clinical skills Backed by Abano Healthcare
