Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 Staff Nurse at Clayponds Rehabilitation Hospital, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care for patients on their rehabilitation journey.

You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence, recovery, and safe discharge planning.

The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, administering medication safely, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and supporting junior staff and students in their development. Compassion, good communication, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment focused on patient-centred care and continuous improvement

oExperience of providing patient facing interventions/post registration experience working in acute setting/inpatient setting/hospital setting oExperience managing care for acutely ill patients oExperience of providing clinical information to wider MDT oExperience of working within a community or in-patient setting as undergraduate oExperience of teaching/training and or providing supervision

Desirable

oWorking with a Nursing, Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy team within an inpatient and community setting oExperience of providing clinical interventions within an acute and community setting oExperience of participating in QSIR/quality improvement projects
