Main duties of the job As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for looking after the different needs of our residents enabling us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and you can expect to support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. Respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents and creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment are key components of your role. The position requires an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, along with specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support will thrive. Ongoing training opportunities are available for career progression. This is a Bank position, providing cover as needed, such as for annual or sick leave.
