Are you based in Warwick and available to volunteer on weekdays and weekends?

Are you able to volunteer alone and available on the days and times listed below?

Monday to Sunday 12pm to 2pm.

Saturday and Sundays 2pm to 4pm.

Monday 10am to 12pm.

Tuesday 10am to 12pm.

Thursdays 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm

Main duties of the job

An exciting volunteering opportunity has arisen within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust for caf volunteering.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with excellent communication and customer care skills, to assist in running Caf at St Michaels Hospital in Warwick.

The role will include serving tea, coffee, snacks, beverages, and toiletries to service users, visitors, and staff whilst promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Our Volunteers need to be:

Understanding rather than judgemental about a patients situation or circumstances

Respectful of a patients individuality, respect different cultural values and work in a non-discriminatory manner

Able to listen to and communicate with patients, carers and staff

Previous experience of working within a mental health environment is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be given to successful applicants. Whats important is that you possess the qualities outlined in the attached Role Description and can demonstrate CWPT values.
