We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Care Support Worker to join our team at HMP Stafford, a category C men's prison located in Stafford.
Hours We are looking for part time 2 x 11.5hrs shifts per week (7.30am till 8pm) - 23hr contracts 3 x 11.5hrs shifts per week (7.30am till 8pm) - 34.5hrs contract
Salary This position is part time, youll receive an annual salary up to £26,500 per annum. - How will we support you?

Main duties of the job As a Social Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will
You will contribute to and support the delivery of social care within a secure environment. Implement clinical social care packages. Assist patients, with activities of daily living, respecting individual needs, dignity and privacy in all necessary activities. Deliver healthcare work under the supervision of a qualified nurse, organise own workload and assist patients in all activities of daily living. Apply appropriate knowledge and understanding of patients individual needs, in accordance with care plans. NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Excellent communication skills Good IT skills and IT literacy Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
