Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant software systems and modern architecture patterns, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud-native solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across software and infrastructure layers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate disaster recovery, high availability, and fault tolerance strategies using infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native tooling.
• Present innovative ideas to leadership and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team capabilities.
• Lead the standardization and implementation of reusable architecture and deployment patterns for AWS-hosted applications.
• Engineer applications with best practices for fault tolerance, data replication, and multi-region support.
• Evaluate technology trade-offs and make informed decisions to maximize customer value and delivery efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and empower teams to implement innovative solutions.
• Take ownership of solving customer problems through effective use of modern technologies and engineering practices.
• Identify and lead the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise applications to enhance automation, personalization, and decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in leading a team
• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture, and design.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design, Java or .NET frameworks, front-end technologies Angular/React, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS/GCP).
• Must have strong experience as Designer/Developer of REST/SOAP API services, both as consumer & provider.
• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with continuous integration and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube).
• 2+ years of Hands-on working experience with Scaled Agile methodologies and practices.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the employee benefits domain and claimant experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with modern front-end and back-end development frameworks and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Lead innovative efforts, leveraging modern technologies to solve customer problems. Knowledge of implementing solutions through Gen AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a plus.
