Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Carpenter, and finishes are well-maintained and visually appealing – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Perform carpentry repairs, maintenance, and preventive maintenance across the hotel. • Maintain and repair doors, furniture, fixtures, cabinets, and other wooden structures to Hilton standards. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders efficiently. • Support painting activities, including surface preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and basic painting works as required. • Assist the Engineering team with general maintenance and other tasks as assigned. • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. • Follow Hilton standards, health and safety procedures, and Engineering policies at all times. • Provide professional and timely service to support an excellent Team Member and guest experience.

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. • Vocational/technical qualification in Carpentry or a related trade preferred. • Basic knowledge of painting and surface preparation. • Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and maintenance practices. • Ability to perform basic maintenance and support other Engineering functions. • Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. • Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team and support hotel operations.
