Maintains, operates, tests, inspects, pms and repairs medical and non-medical equipment. Completes established competencies for the
position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
• Maintains, operates, tests, inspects, performs preventative maintenance and repairs all types of medical electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam equipmen • Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data • Maintains equipment records and files on all equipment • Processes all equipment repairs and PM check on all equipment • Answers, transfers, picks up and responds to incoming telephone and electronic mail work request calls • Makes out purchase orders and restocks parts • Completes errands as directed • Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively • Maintains safe environment • Participates in Performance Improvement activities
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Biomedical Electronics or Certificate of training from a Technical School in Biomedical Electronics MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years in Biomedical Electronics repair shop.
