Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning:

• Assist in formulation of budget, forecast and development plan • Demonstrate financial analytics to generate insights and support for business initiatives, including capex projects, strategic investments, and business development opportunities • Work productively with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities • Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement • Drive delivery of budget and monthly forecast exercise, own budget change request (BCR) and ensure compliance with CLPP company management authority manual

2. Management Reporting:

• Run daily finance operations, including month-end close, variance analysis and dashboard maintenance • Own the end to end management reporting cycle, including financial deck and dashboards, from design, to data collection and analysis, to improve transparency and understanding of drivers of financial performance and identify opportunities or threats to the business and resolve or escalate them accordingly • Take accountability with preparation of materials and collection of data for ad-hoc financial review, business review and BOD deliverable as required

3. Others

• SME in Oracle Finance, including Oracle AI adoption • Drive continuous process improvement with the goal of increasing efficiency and optimizing the work through digitalization, automation and other solutions • Manage allocation of estimated cost sharing • Perform ad-hoc requests and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • A holder of professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CICPA qualification • With at least 5 years’ experience in financial operation, reporting and analysis • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency in financial reporting software and AI Analysis tools • Familiarity with digital finance transformation and Oracle will be a plus • Experience in Utility industry or Digital domain will be a plus
