QualificationsGS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting and applying budgetary, accounting, and financial policies, procedures, and regulations; utilizing financial management systems, automation, and analytical tools to execute and monitor financial activities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness of financial operations and reporting. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with the interpretation and application of budgetary, accounting, and financial policies, procedures, and regulations; supporting the use of financial management systems, automation, and analytical tools to process, track, and monitor financial activities; and assisting with maintaining accurate, compliant, and audit-ready financial records and reports. Major DutiesYou will perform analyses and support functions in the preparation of budget estimates and financial plans that advance organizational programs and activities.You will review budget submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established regulations and guidance.You will ensure that all actions are documented and traceable to support future audits and reviews.You will prepare timely, accurate, and audit ready financial reports reflecting the status of organizational resources.You will manage tasks related to accounting systems, payroll operations, cash control, and benefit programs.
