QualificationsExperience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Demonstrating `expert-level experience leading and collaborating with senior leadership to design, execute, and evaluate comprehensive program improvements across diverse administrative areas (e.g., awards, performance management, facilities, and audit programs). Acting as a change agent by re-engineering business processes, resolving unique issues where no policy exists, and creating business cases that align with strategic organizational goals and budgetary constraints. Utilizing advanced analytical tools (Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP) to collect, interpret, and present complex program data. Experience translating this data into actionable insights for senior management to drive data-driven decision-making, identify operational trends, and establish new criteria for measuring program effectiveness at the highest organizational levels. Providing analytical oversight for organizational staffing, including the development of comprehensive recruitment plans, monitoring position accuracy, and analyzing attrition trends. Major DutiesThis position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10) The incumbent's role involves full responsibility for planning, scheduling, and leading major OPA projects, establishing milestones, and influencing OPA policy and Customs and Border Protections (CBP)strategic direction. The incumbent serves as a technical expert, providing advice on personnel and business resources, and utilizes advanced software, such as Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP, to collect, interpret, and analyze program data to assess efficiency, effectiveness, identify trends, and facilitate problem-solving. Major Duties include: Leading and collaborating on major projects to improve business processes across various administrative areas, including awards, performance management, and facilities.
