Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service which includes training other employees regularly; assisting managers with workload distribution for other employees; performing warehouse inventory and providing instructions on administrative matters. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Attention to Detail Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Candidates may be advanced without time restriction to positions up to GS-05 if the position to be filled is no more than two grades above the lowest grade the employee held within the preceding 52 weeks under his or her latest non-temporary competitive appointment.
Major DutiesPerform as a first line supervisor for the Computer Assisted Ordering TechnicianEvaluates stock levels of all Computer Assisted Ordering categories daily, by physically reviewing the storage and display shelf locations, shippers and warehouse.Maintains the Computer Assisted Ordering system with current, accurate data to ensure optimal order quantities are calculated necessary to sustain customer demands.Processes requests for customer special orders; monitors paperwork and ensures product is ordered in a timely manner, keeps in contact with customer to advise on status and ensures product is ready for pickup.
