Job SummaryYou will serve as a Nuclear Project Engineer in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional ENGINEER planning, coordinating, and reviewing nuclear engineering projects including functions related to refueling, alteration, repair, maintenance, and testing modifications of nuclear reactor plants. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for both the technical and management aspects of your assigned projects.You will work with production controllers, contractor representatives, and other teams in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department to coordinate projects.You will identify requirements and provide direction for shipyard reactor plant work.You will coordinate work projects between individual divisions.You will coordinate engineering and planning functions to ensure a thorough review of all approved work that enters the department.
