Impact Call Award: support for early-career postdocs Application for Impact Call 2026 is open Do you have plans for an exceptional research or education project that makes social impact? And are you looking for funding to make it happen? This fall, the UvA Fund is awarding nine Impact Call Awards of € 25,000 each for projects by researchers at the beginning of their careers. If you obtained your PhD no more than five years ago, read about the conditions and criteria below. We look forward to receiving your application. Apply here Purpose of the Impact Call Awards Through these grants, the Fund aims to create a positive impact for future generations. We do this by supporting research and education projects at the University of Amsterdam around three key social themes: - Strong society - Green future - Healthy generations With the Impact Call Awards, we want to support early-career postdocs. Together, we work towards solutions for today's and tomorrow's challenges. - Strong society : This includes projects that contribute to a resilient, just and connected society. For example, projects focused on equal opportunities, citizenship and strengthening the rule of law (nationally and internationally). We also support initiatives related to media, culture and history. Green Future : Our commitment to a green future includes projects that contribute to the sustainable development of green technologies and materials, climate, ecology and biodiversity. We also support projects that encourage social behavioral change to better protect the planet and inspire people to live more sustainably. Healthy generations: To foster healthier generations, we support initiatives that promote physical and mental health and well-being.
