Job summary
Hawthorn Drive Surgery are looking for a part-time (30 hours per week) Care Navigator/ Receptionist to join our friendly team. The successful candidate applicant will be enthusiastic and confident in dealing with members of the public in a calm and professional manner, whilst delivering excellent customer service.
You will need some flexibility to open and close and cover morning (8.00am to 1.00 pm) and afternoons (1.00pm to 6.30 pm). This will be discussed before any offer can be made.
Main duties of the job
The role is patient focused, and you will carry out a variety of roles including:
Welcoming all patients and visitors to the surgeryDealing with enquiries from patients and external agencies in person and over the telephoneSignposting patients to the correct serviceCompleting new patient registrationsFiling, photocopying, scanningRecalling patients for reviews, chronic disease clinics etc.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Math's
Desirable
Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc. Experience using our clinical system, SystmOne.
