ST3+ Equivalent in UrologyOct 2026 Start
Applications are invited for the post of ST3+ Trust Grade Registrar in Urology. This post is initially for six months with the potential to extend for a further six months. The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a Registrar alongside a team of six to seven Registrars to support delivering elective and emergency care in the Urology Service. There may be the opportunity to some protected research time. However, this will be discussed with the successful candidates. To note, the Urology Service at Whipps Cross is the High Volume Low Complexity Hub for Bart's Health and sits within an Accredited Surgical Hub. NHS Experience is essential to this role as well as MRCS Part A.
Main duties of the job
In-patient care at the Whipps Cross is consultant led. The post holder will contribute to careof in-patients, rotating this responsibility with colleagues. There will be the opportunity totrain in Urological surgery, TP Biopsy, Urodynamics and Flexible Endoscopy.

The post holder will have a strong commitment to the organisation and delivery ofpostgraduate training and will be actively involved in the training and supervision offoundation year doctors. The post holder will also teach small groups of medical students inthe clinical setting during their Urology attachments.
