In this role, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily management of the F&B operation and act as an important point of contact for the team on the floor. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and work closely with the Executive Chef and the other hotel departments.The hotel has 250 rooms and is located in the ‘Hart van Zuid', just steps away from Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Center and Zuidplein. Our restaurant and terrace overlook the Zuiderpark and offer an Italian-inspired concept featuring freshly prepared Neapolitan sourdough pizzas and Italian-inspired cocktails. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you are right at the heart of the operation. You lead by example, actively participate in service and work together with the team to ensure that every guest feels welcome. You support the team with scheduling, training and coaching and take the lead during shifts when the Food & Beverage Manager is not present.Your duties and responsibilities include: • Managing and supporting the F&B team during breakfast, lunch and dinner. • Actively participating in the daily operation and ensuring smooth, welcoming and personal service. • Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with staff scheduling, onboarding, training and coaching. • Taking the lead during shifts and acting as the first point of contact for both employees and guests. • Ensuring that operational standards and procedures are followed and maintained. • Monitoring guest satisfaction and responding directly to feedback or operat
