We evaluate and evolve our offerings, so our people receive ... 1 Concept + Feasibility Engineer (all genders) Job-ID: 204411 Arbeitsort: Villach What you'll do * Drive innovative mechanical development projects during the concept and feasibility phases, focusing on novel technologies and breakthrough approaches for future semiconductor applications. * Develop and evaluate engineering concepts, applying strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise to transform ideas into viable solutions. * Prepare and present high-quality technical reports, analyses, and design review presentations to effectively communicate design intent, evaluation results, and validation outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders. * Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure solutions are manufacturable, cost-effective, reliable, and compliant with product requirements. * Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and engineering excellence. * Ensure designs and system concepts meet all applicable engineering, compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements. * Support risk assessments, trade-off analyses, and technical decision-making throughout the product development process. Who we're looking for * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience. * relevant engineering experience in mechanical design, or concept engineering with 2+ years of experience * Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. * Ability to independently drive technical investigations and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
