Job summary
We are looking for a salaried GP as a fixed term 1 year maternity cover to join our team, working days to be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We offer the BMA model contract for our salaried GPs and we hold a Tier 2 sponsorship licence.
We are a team of 5 Partners, 4 salaried GPs, great nursing and admin teams. We are well supported by our successful frailty team and a wide range of ARRS staff. We have a growing patient list of over 11,800 patients and pride ourselves on our ethos of Excellent Patient Care, Great Place to Work.

Main duties of the job
Please see the attached job description which provides full information but the role briefly comprises of providing a full range of GMS services, including on call as part of the GP clinical team during core hours, participate in and maximise income vial enhances services, QIS, QOF etc, taking responsibility for agreed areas. You will also participate in clinical audit, medicals and reports for patients registered at Captain French Surgery.

When you join us as a salaried GP you will have the benefit of your own patient list, fair allocation of work and 15 minute routine appointments.

Key areas and responsibilities:
Clinical
Provide full range of general medical services according to patient need
Participate in and maximise income via Enhanced Services, QOF, LES and IIF taking responsibility for agreed areas
Provide on call services in the form of duty doctor as part of the GP clinical team during core hours
Participate in clinical audit and governance
Complete medical and other reports for patients registered with the Practice
Education
Clinical supervision of other professionals including nursing, registrars, and undergraduate medical students
Maintain personal professional development via personal education plan and professional requirements and appraisal
