Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home. The role includes following standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry to maintain hotel service standards. Responsibilities include performing all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning needs for various surfaces and materials, and ensuring areas are well presented. You must treat residents with dignity and respect at all times. Work shifts will be discussed during the interview. Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..
