Main duties of the job Your primary task as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team to ensure that the cleanliness and laundry standards are maintained within the care home. You are expected to adhere to established housekeeping and laundry procedures to maintain hotel service standards. Key responsibilities include performing all cleaning duties according to specific instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces, and ensuring the areas are well-presented and maintained. Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..

The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
