About this role

Job summary

The post will involve close working across transplant, metabolic medicine, pharmacy, and dietetic teams, supporting the development of integrated care models that address both clinical outcomes and patient experience. You will contribute to the coordination and delivery of project activities across the Imperial West London Renal and Transplant Centre, with some hybrid working.

We are seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive Band 7/8a dietitian who thrives in a busy multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based service development. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality improvement, audit, or project coordination within healthcare, and a strong interest in metabolic health and renal care.

Main duties of the job

Assist in the implementation of the standardised QI methodology in the project which will deliver the key priorities outlined in the Trust's Quality Strategy. Act as the QI lead for the QI project. To ensure data relating to the QI project is captured accurately and in a timely manner to demonstrate achievements to the funder, Imperial Health Charity. Provide clinical advice on the development of new models of quality improvement, patient care and innovation ensuring these reflect best practice. Support clinical teams in developing project plans for challenged areas in meeting key priorities. Ensure appropriate and timely information is provided. The focus should be on sustainable long-term improvement across to significantly improve the patient experience and staff involvement. Embed the QI programme within Trust values and behaviours to create a culture of continuous improvement by providing visible clinical leadership in the project. Undertake learning & development activities in QI methodology, QI toolsand teaching & facilitation. Use practical learning from the specific QI project to supplement theoretical knowledge.
