Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of the quality care we're known for. Main duties of the job As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of quality care. You'll work closely with the General Manager and assume leadership in their absence, handling responsibilities from ensuring care standards to team motivation. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you'll aim to enhance residents' quality of life by leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, clinical supervision, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll set top standards and leverage your skills to craft and execute strategies for your goals. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and qualifications in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Experience with diverse health needs, safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments is essential. The role also requires some HR and budget management knowledge, strong sales and marketing insights, and experience supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
