Main duties of the job The Residential Care Manager position at Avery Healthcare requires a dedicated individual to manage and support Care Supervisors within the home. The role involves ensuring high-quality personal care delivery, advocating for residents, coordinating resident assessments, supporting team development, ensuring proper equipment management, and compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme. Regular quality care checks are conducted to maintain care standards. The ideal candidate will live by values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. An NVQ Level 4 in care or equivalent, two years' minimum experience in long-term care, and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards are mandatory. A DBS check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK are required for this role.

Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate and reflected in each individual care plan. Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers. Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstructionsand is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse. Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures. UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent. Minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry. Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards. Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.
