Job summary
Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies is an established, forward-thinking 'Talking Therapies' service, providing psychological therapy for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
We are looking to recruit skilled Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP's) who are passionate about delivering effective, evidence-based care - with a true desire to make a meaningful difference.
We are seeking candidates who have:
Qualification in Low Intensity CBT interventions, from an accredited course with the BPS or BABCP Registration with the professional body of BABCP or BPS Proven experience in deliveringevidenced based psychological therapies within anNHS Talking Therapies service, or a similar evidence-based clinical setting.
Confidence and competence in Assessment, planning, formulation and evaluation of patient's psychological difficulties.
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work well autonomously and within a team.
The post holders will work remotely and face-to-face with clients who present with a range of mild-moderate common mental health problems, for which Low Intensity CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. They will also carry out assessments as part of their caseload.

Main duties of the job
Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a highly valued and fundamental part of what we do. Our PWP's provide disorder specific assessments, formulation, and NICE evidence-based Step 2 treatment for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.
Main duties include:
Providing a range of low intensity CBT based (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) self-management interventions to support a caseload of clients who experience mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Manage a large caseload while maintaining quality.
Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions in line with the Talking Therapies manual and NICE guidelines to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, via one-to-one sessions and as a group.
Committed to continual professional development as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership practices within the role to support a collective leadership culture within the service and trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) demonstrates psychologically safe behaviours, and (c) contributes to team working and collaboration within the service.

Qualifications Essential
Qualification in Low Intensity CBT interventions, from an accredited course with the BPS or BABCP Registration with the professional body of BABCP or BPS
Desirable
Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate or equivalent experience. Qualified Psychological Therapist
Experience Essential
Experience in relevant area of mental health practice. Application of evidenced based psychological therapies relevant to the clinical service.
Desirable
Lived experience of mental health as a service user or carer. Involvement in innovative clinical practice. Clinical leadership experience.
