At NNUH, our Physiotherapy Bank offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clinical areas, giving you exposure to both acute and specialist services within one of the largest teaching hospitals in the region.
Main duties of the job
We can offer bank shifts across a broad range of teams, which may include:
Respiratory (medical and surgical) Acute and Older Persons Medicine, including AMU and short-stay services Neurosciences and Acute Stroke Trauma & Orthopaedics (acute rehab, trauma and elective pathways) Haematology, Oncology and Palliative Care Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Musculoskeletal Outpatients Pelvic Health and Maternal Health Paediatrics Bank work at NNUH allows you to:

Job description Job responsibilities
Physiotherapist responsible for the physiotherapy management of patients with a variety of conditions within the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Work area/specialty will be in accordance with individual skills, knowledge and experience to support service needs. To assess and manage own caseload of patients, determine clinical diagnosis and treatment indicated, and maintain own records as a legally autonomous practitioner. Patients may present with a range of complex needs, such as multi-trauma, multi-pathology, altered perception and communication difficulties. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUHs PRIDE values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.

Qualifications Essential
BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (UK)
Experience Essential
Broad range of core clinical experience at pre-registration or if applicable post registration
Skills Essential
Ability to carry out management/treatment programmes using clinical reasoning, problem solving, sound judgement and knowledge of treatment options. Ability to demonstrate good written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Attitude, aptitude Essential
