Job summary
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and forward thinking team at The Drayton Surgery.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across two sites: our well established main surgery in Drayton and our newly opened branch surgery at Highclere in Cosham. You will be part of a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high quality, patient centred care.
The role offers flexibility of 48 sessions per week, making it well suited to candidates seeking a balanced and sustainable working pattern.
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will provide autonomous, evidence based clinical care, including
Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and nonmedical prescribing Management of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups Independent clinical decision making within your scope of practice Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and the wider PCN team Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and clinical leadership

The Drayton Surgery is a well regarded, innovative training practice serving a diverse population in north Portsmouth. We care for approximately 24,200 patients across two sites and are an established and active member of Portsmouth North Primary Care Network.

6 GP Partners 8 Salaried GPs 10 Nurse Practitioners delivering sameday care 8 General Practice Nurses 6 Healthcare Assistants supporting chronic disease management A dedicated Prescribing Team, including Clinical Pharmacists
