Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic, welcoming, friendly, highly organised Administrator and Receptionist to support our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services at Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS.Your role will include dealing with queries from service users, relatives, other members of the public and professionals. You will also have an important role in helping the service to run efficiently in a busy and often demanding environment.This role will involve frontline tasks, including dealing with visitors, telephone enquiries, booking rooms, making appointments, reception duties, data entry, and using the in-house IT systems.

Assisting with booking in patients for clinics, entering and processing of referrals, processing of letters for the clinical teams. There will be other general administrative tasks involved to support the CAMHS team.To be successful in this role:- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent organisational skills- You will have good telephone manners- Computer literate and demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Main duties of the job

o Act as first point of contact: manage reception, calls, emails, and correspondence professionallyo Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.o Handle sensitive information with discretion and always uphold confidentialityo Coordinate meetings: prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute documentationo Manage data entry and updates on RIO and other systems within Trust deadlineso Maintain office supplies, equipment, and ensure Health & Safety complianceo Support audits, statistical returns, and performance monitoring

Qualifications Essential

Literate and numerate - 5 GCSEs grade C or above incl. English

Desirable

Diploma in Business and Administration Evidence of continuous professional development and learning RSA III typing or equivalent ECDL or equivalent
