Job Title: BIM AutoCAD Drafter (Remote – Tucson, AZ Region)Location: Remote (Preferred candidates located near Tucson, AZ)Job Type: Full-Time / Contract (adjust as needed)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented BIM AutoCAD Drafter to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and AutoCAD drafting, with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and models. Candidates located near Tucson, Arizona are preferred to support regional project coordination when needed.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and BIM software (e.g., Revit).Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical documentation.Ensure all drawings and models comply with company standards and project specifications.Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.Manage drawing revisions and maintain organized file structures.Assist with coordination between disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).Participate in virtual meetings and coordinate with project teams as required.

Requirements

Required QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting.Experience with BIM software such as Revit.Strong understanding of construction documents and drafting standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management systems.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred QualificationsExperience working on projects in the Southwest U.S. (especially Arizona).Familiarity with local building codes and standards.Experience with additional tools such as Navisworks, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam.Knowledge of MEP or structural drafting is a plus.
