The OpportunityOur partner is hiring a Business Development Representative to help scale outbound pipeline generation and support the next phase of commercial growth. This is an onsite role in San Francisco for someone who is energized by prospecting, comfortable with a highly phone-driven motion, and excited by the opportunity to join a team where outbound is already proving to be a meaningful growth lever.

This is not a purely plug-and-play seat. The foundation is in place, but there is still meaningful room to improve messaging, targeting, and process. The right person will be excited by both execution and iteration: generating qualified pipeline while also helping refine the outbound motion over time. This role also offers strong long-term growth potential, including a path into a closing role as the business scales.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across phone, email, and other channelsExecute high-volume cold outreach with a strong emphasis on phone-based prospectingResearch target accounts and contacts to improve outreach quality and conversionQualify prospective customers and convert outreach into sales opportunitiesPartner closely with sales leadership and Account Executives to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategyTrack prospecting activity, opportunity creation, and account progress in internal systemsShare feedback on campaign performance, market response, and process improvementsHelp contribute to a repeatable, scalable outbound engine as the commercial team growsRequirements1+ year of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound prospecting roleDemonstrated comfort with cold calling and high-volume outbound activityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work onsite in San FranciscoHighly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detailComfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environmentThoughtful and strategic approach to prospecting, not just activity for activity’s sakeCuriosity around modern AI tools and willingness to learn new technologies quicklyCollaborative mindset and interest in helping improve process over timePreferred qualifications:

Experience in an early-stage startup or similarly high-accountability environmentExposure to SaaS, AI, logistics, supply chain, or other operationally complex industriesInterest in growing into an Account Executive role over timeExperience working closely with small, high-performing commercial teams
