To support continued growth, Our client are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities, supplier strategy, and quality oversight across multiple European operations while managing a purchasing and quality team. Jobomschrijving As a Strategic Purchasing Manager your responsibilities are: Lead and develop the European purchasing function Manage and coach purchasing and quality teams Define and execute sourcing and supplier strategies Negotiate contracts, pricing and framework agreements Drive cost reduction initiatives and procurement performance Develop and monitor procurement KPIs Ensure material availability and inventory optimisation Partner closely with production, sales, logistics and quality teams A successful Strategic Purchasing Manager should have: Minimum 10 years' experience in procurement within an industrial environment Proven people management experience Strong strategic sourcing and supplier management expertise Experience negotiating contracts and driving savings initiatives Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Fluent in English, Dutch and French Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills Results-driven, organised and resilient mindset
