About this role
As a Project Engineer E&I (m/f/x), you play a key role within the Automation and E&I team. You are responsible for the design, development, and follow-up of electrical and instrumentation aspects in the construction of advanced organic waste processing plants. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of technical experts on projects in the Noorderkempen region and potentially elsewhere, both nationally and internationally. On an average day, you’ll be drafting diagrams, performing calculations, and preparing technical documents. You’ll check on-site cabling and hardware, troubleshoot issues, assist with plant startups, and optimize control programs. You analyze faults, support customers, and actively participate in discussions with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. You report directly to the Head of Automation and E&I. You hold at least a professional bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field (industrial sciences or engineering). You have several years of relevant experience (minimum 2 years). You have strong knowledge of low-voltage techniques and preferably also medium voltage. Experience with Eplan is a plus. You have knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA programming (such as Siemens TIA Portal, PCS7). You are analytical, creative, accurate, and punctual. You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and enjoy working to deadlines. You are both theoretically and practically minded, and are willing to roll up your sleeves.
