Employer: Amazon.com Services LLC Position: Operations Engineer II - AMZ26152.4 Location: Austin, TX Multiple Positions Available: • Manage projects and initiatives, provide progress reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for significant milestones and mitigate conditions affecting project cost or schedule. • Lead installation and operation quality inspections and equipment commissioning for base building/MHE equipment drive continuous improvement. • Lead RME input for development of Building templates specification and site specific composites. • Lead continuous improvement for all new buildings/retrofits including cross functional collaboration with design and construction, change management and procurement. • Support construction and launch execution teams leveraging discussions with vendors and other departments representatives. • Integrate RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) policies and deliverables into the launch plans and provide guidance and direction to other departments to cascade this into the designs, contract and commissioning phases. • Capture lessons-learned and develop/execute action plans to improve quality or efficiency of new facility launches. • Specify and coordinate standards and deliverables for new equipment being turned over to RME. • Understand the anticipated life cycle cost based on initial design and planned design improvements.
