*Responsibilities*

* Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care * Collect and process laboratory samples, ensuring accurate testing and timely results * Prepare animals for procedures by administering medications, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterile environments * Monitor anesthesia, vital signs, and recovery processes to ensure patient safety throughout treatments * Maintain detailed medical records, update patient histories, and document all procedures thoroughly * Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and wellness plans * Support inventory management by stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and ordering necessary materials

*Qualifications*

* Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic testing procedures * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being * Certification or licensing as a veterinary technician or assistant is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered * Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift
