What You'll Be Doing
Your primary role will be *sheet metal and HVAC installation*, including:
* Residential furnace installations * Air conditioning installations * Heat pump installations * Supply and return air ductwork * Custom plenums, transitions and fittings * Fresh air and ventilation systems * Furnace and equipment changeouts * Sheet metal fabrication and installation * Reading measurements, layouts and job requirements * Working alongside HVAC installers, plumbers and apprentices * Troubleshooting installation challenges and finding practical solutions * Keeping jobsites clean and organized * Making sure installations are completed safely, professionally and to code

You'll help a plumber with a water heater one day. Maybe you're learning how to troubleshoot a plumbing issue or maybe you're helping with a service call.

You Must Have
* Journeyman Sheet Metal certification * Residential HVAC installation experience * Strong sheet metal fabrication skills * Experience installing furnaces and A/C systems * Ability to work independently * Valid driver's license with a clean record * Good communication skills * A willingness to learn plumbing
Experience That Would Be an Asset
* Gas fitting experience * Heat pump installation * HRV/ERV installation * Residential HVAC service * Plumbing experience * Water heater installation * Boiler experience * Experience mentoring apprentices
